These are the steps I have taken to turn the webcam into a microscope.
In summary, the lens holder is removed and the lens are inverted to turn the webcam into a microscope!

Remove the clip by sliding the spring to the side and pull it out from the other side. |

Unscrew the covers |

Remove the silver cover and you can see the lens attached to the microcontroller. |

Remove the lens from the lens holder |
 |
Unscrew the lens holder from the microcontroller board. |

Invert the lens and put it back. The lens holder has to be removed as it cannot accommodate the inverted lens. |

Put back the covers and screw them back. Tadah. Webcam is turned into microscope. |
The time has come to test your microscope!
Install the driver for the webcam and connect via usb to your computer.
With some newly hatched zebrafish, I looked at them under the microscope. As I did not have a stand for the microscope or the sample, the images are pretty blur.
